Meet Koda!  Koda is one of the baker's dozen puppies rescued from a bad situation in Southern OR.  Koda's favorite place is you lap! His puppy energy calms right down when he is being loved and snuggled.  This little boy will become your shadow and attaches himself to you once you earn his trust, typical of this breed.  He has beautiful eyes that are hard to resist and he has the softest fur.  He loves his canine foster siblings and is curious about his foster kitty, but not at all aggressive.  He used to be worried when his sibling came near his food but he is learning there will always be enough to eat in a healthy and happy home.  And he is VERY food motivated which will help with training.

Being a puppy, he still needs help with potty training, leash training and walking nicely on a leash, riding in cars, etc.  So far, he's not a big barker but puts on the defense with unknown noises and he is appropriately cautious when meeting new people, so appropriate introductions are needed.  He will likely be very large when grown so prepare for that!  If you are his new family, you are getting a very special pup that seems to know he is very lucky to have been rescued.  Koda is in line to schedule for his neuter and will be available after that!  He's being fostered in OR and can be adopted to the PNW states.

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. They also must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly.
