Hi, my name is Luna!  I am a floofy 3-year-old Great Pyrenees.  I came into rescue quite a few months ago, my family had to surrender me because they were moving.  It turns out I also had some medical issues, my knee cap would not stay in place, they call it a luxating patella.  Anyway, I had to have two surgeries to fix my knee, it was a long process and lots of recovery, but I am doing great now!  I get along with other dogs, and I even like the cats in my foster home!  I would be fine as an only dog too because I love attention from my humans.  Sometimes I am a little shy and nervous around new people, but my foster pyrents have been helping me build my confidence and I am learning to trust.  I am completely house trained, and I don’t mind the crate, I did spend a lot of time in the crate while I recovered from my surgery, but I am not destructive or naughty, so no crate is necessary.  I have also been around smaller humans and do fine with them too.  I love belly rubs and hanging out outside.  I do bark a bit so a home with a large yard would be awesome.  I walk nicely on leash, in fact I love walks, they are another of my favorite things!  My foster Mom says I shed a lot but that it’s ok because I am so sweet and cute!  If you are looking for a nice companion or a family dog, I would be a great choice.  I promise to keep the house safe from the UPS man and the trash truck.  I am currently living in Austin, TX but can be adopted to any of the western states! 

All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. 

We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. 

Adoption Fee: $225

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

Transport Fee: $350

Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport.
