Homer is in a permanent senior foster home and is available for sponsorship!  Homer is the namesake of our new senior program, the Homer Senior Housing Project.  Meet HOMER!  Homer is 6-7 years old and weighs 100lbs.  Homer came into rescue in horrible condition.  He had skin issues, was malnourished, and was very shut down.  With the love of an amazing foster Mom, Homer has become a healthy, happy guy who is quite the character!  Homer LOVES attention from his humans and expects to be pampered.  He demands his daily walks, he is wonderful on leash, and loves to eat. Homer gets along with all the dogs in his foster home but can be an only dog that is spoiled and has his new family’s full attention.  He is house trained and will let you know he wants to go outside by standing by the door. Homer likes to bark at dusk just to make sure his people and property are protected but is otherwise quiet.  Homer can be stubborn and would do best with a Pyr experienced owner.  He is also very smart and can open gates and doors.  He would love a secure yard to lounge in and patrol when the need serves him.  Homer is currently in long term foster care in Portland, OR! 

All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Transport fee includes the cost of transport plus the Health Certificate required for USDA approved transport.
