My name is Wally.  Sometimes my foster family calls me Wally Wu or Mr. Wallingford (when I’m looking especially dignified). I am a five-year-old boy looking for a forever family to love and protect.  I’m big but gentle.  My previous owner gave me up.  Between you and me, I think it was for the best, they didn’t take very good care of me.  My foster mom does have some weird fixation on cleaning every part of me.  We’re talking toothbrushes, all kinds of brushes for my fur and two baths within the first week I was with them.  I know, over the top, right?!  Although, I must admit I’m more comfortable, but don’t let that get out.  Other than that, life is great with my foster family.  There are two great kids who I get to love and protect.  Sometimes, I like to go find them and join them for morning snuggles first thing in the morning after I’ve been out.  Foster dad doesn’t know I open the screen door and then work their doors open (I have a very talented nose) to get to them, so let’s keep that quiet, k.  There are plenty of comfy couches for lounging and I get to go out on walks every day.  I’m told I walk very nicely on leash.  My foster brother also takes me in the back yard so we can play tag and keep away.  I really love that.
My foster mom is always telling me I’m a good boy and very handsome.  She also keeps telling people I am very polite and have wonderful house manners.  Not sure what that all means but it seems to make her happy, so I go with it.  Like the cleanliness thing, she has some weird ideas about food.  She seems to think that if I walk into a room and there is food at nose level, I’m supposed to ignore it.  Crazy talk, I’m telling you!  She does seem adamant about this and I like making her happy so I’m working on it.  I would be happy to be an only dog and get all the loves.  I could be persuaded to share with another dog as long as I get to be the boss.  Introductions would need to be slow too.  I can’t be rushed you know.  Wally is currently being fostered in Bothell, WA.
