Meet Kirby! Kirby is a happy, goofy 3 month old puppy who's ready to meet her new family. She has a very confident and loud personality... she'll let you know when she needs something! Kirby is definitely teething and has shown lots of interest in chewy bones and toys. She's shown zero hesitation when it comes to wrestling with foster family dogs and cats - and will go all in until she's ready for a nap. Kirby's done great with potty training, and understands the morning routine ("let's go outside!") really well, with very few accidents. When she has exhausted the puppy energy, Kirby is more than happy to cuddle up in your arms (we'll see how that goes as she gets bigger) and give puppy kisses. She's sleeping through the night, about 7 hours at a stretch, and has no issues in her crate.

Kirb y came into the rescue with brother Frasier (and 11 other siblings) out of a dog very bad situation in Southern OR. The day of rescue, she was pretty timid and hesitant with people handling her, but she has adapted to the good life VERY well. She's a great fit  with both cats and dogs  of all sizes. Kirby is being fostered in Portland, OR and can be transported within the PNW.  Kirby is waiting her turn for a spay appointment and can be available after that!

OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. They also must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly.
