Meet Jaimes! Jaimes is a handsome boy who is about 3 years old. When Jaimes came into rescue, it was clear he had not been cared for or loved by humans as he didn’t even know how to take a treat from human hands! He is learning how to be a pet and not a working dog, basic commands are foreign to him but he is starting to understand. Jaimes is very calm and has low energy, he would most likely be more playful if he had a playful companion who could teach him. He walks slowly on leash, often stopping to smell the roses. He would do well in a mellow household where he can continue to learn how to be loved. Due to ingesting rat poison while a stray, he may always have issues with slow blood clotting, and needs to have special care taken for surgery or if injured. Jaimes is currently being fostered in Beaverton, OR. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
