Meet MAE! Mae has been looking for a family where she can be a house dog, she does not want to be an LGD. She is between 18 months and 2 yrs old, and she loves to play in water and has a lot of energy for a pyr. She is smaller sized so is probably mixed with a smaller breed, maybe Golden Retriever. She loves kids, but is bouncy, so older kids would be best. Mae does not stay with the goats (which is what she was expected to do) and she has become a very good escape artist, by climbing and digging. Unfortunately, she also lets all of the goats out of the pen when she escapes by digging, so now she needs to find another home! When she escapes, she runs to the house and wants to stay with the people in the house, instead of being in the fields. Mae does not need other animals in the home - she can be an only dog. She has been good with the dogs in her current home, and does not chase the livestock or cats, but she did require slow introductions when she first arrived. She is currently in Texas but can be on the next NW transport! All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption Fee: $325 Transport Fee: $250 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and receive a certificate of health prior to transport. Adoption applications can be found on our website: www.greatpyrsandpaws.org https://greatpyrsandpaws.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5959 Northwest adopter pays cost of transport to independent transport company. Transport is arranged by GPPR.
