Dog Details

Muffy is a sweet and sassy 5 ½ year old Pyr mix.  She loves a great game of chase and wrestle with her 10 month old Pyr mix foster sister and 8-year-old foster brother and once they get going they can play for hours.  She takes it upon herself to supervise all things in the house including humans cooking in the kitchen, use of that sketchy & noisy vacuum, as well as doggy meal times.  She likes to think she’s in charge as she has to be first out the back door, first to get foster mom loves and she works hard to keep her pack together in one place.  Muffy is a good-natured and well-mannered girl who loves to go on walks and rides and is always ready for her next adventure but she is not at all opposed to an afternoon nap or cuddles with her foster mom on the couch.  She will alert her humans to any potential activity occurring outside and when she’s not guarding she likes to relax in the yard or tend to a good hole she’s started.  Muffy knows several commands, including “sit,” “shake,” and “come” but typical of Pyrs, may decide not to do these unless you make it worth her while!  Muffy would do best in a home with a playful big dog and no cats as she has some prey drive tendencies.

Muffy is currently being fostered in Tacoma, WA.
